Judd was a Missile Technician on the Henry M. Jackson (SSBN 730) and is retired from the Navy Reserves. He joined the Navy in the late 80's for the Navy Nuclear Power Program. He later shifted to the S.W.S.E (Strategic Weapon Systems Engineering) Program where he became an FTB for the C-4 Trident program.
